Professional Metal Painters

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knows a company which can spray paint individual pieces of metal. The reason why I ask this is because I just finished debezeling and painting an old monitor (17 inch 1024X1280 :P ), and although it looks ok I don't feel confident painting a newer and bigger monitor.

Thanks

-Billy

Your closest auto body repair shop?

They usually have paint booths in house

Basically look for someone who has professional painting booths. Doesn't matter if they specialize in auto painting or what-not, just provided they can paint consistently. Might be worth browsing through a couple of different forums, here, Overclockers, The Mod Zoo would be a good place to look. See where other people have had computer related stuff painted, and go from there.

Ok, I will. Also, do you think that someone like mountain mods could do it? I know linus had a crinkle finish put on his case from them.

Linus had a powder coat done, it usually is more expensive and is a completely different process from regular painting.

I know, but do you think that they would do normal painting, or do they not do basic things like that.

You can find wrinkle coat spray paint. Saw a bunch of it when I was interested in painting my car's valve cover.

I had a computer.. and then I let FedEx ship it.

It's still not terribly expensive though. I looked at getting it done through a place here in Melbourne, which I found through overclockers.net. From memory it was going to cost me $70-80 for a standard colour, or add $50 if it's a non-standard colour
