Dell Inspiron 17 7000

Hello everyone,

 

I recently got my Dell Inspiron 17 7000 and thought that i would do a review about it.

 

The looks are great, maybe it's a bit Macbook alike but that's my own opinion. You're as always welcomed by the Dell logo on top, th ehousing is made out of Aluminium which is a quite nice feel. the keyboard is in the same color as the rest of the machine (Gray). I'm used to typing on a mechanical keyboard so it was weird to type the first time because the key travel is so little, But after a while you will get used to it.

 

The specs of my machine:

CPU: 4th generation Intel Core i7-4510U

GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 750 M 2 GB DDR5

RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz

HDD: 1TB 5200RPM

Screen: 17.3" 1920x1080 truelife touchscreen.

 

Personally i would have liked an SSD in the system but it can always be upgraded! 

There are 4 USB ports and 1 HDMI port, ethernet connector, and cardreader. You only have one headphone jack but since my headphone is USB it doesn't bother me. The touchscreen is a nice option but i don't use it because of fingerprints all over the screen.

 

It''s a nice machine, has gaming capabilities but isn't the best like you could get with a desktop from the same price.
