New Nividia driver install causes flickering black screen

Nixivious

Hello

I've recently installed the new Nividia Driver for my 770 using geforce experience and after installation get a flickering black screen. All i can see is my mouse flickering with the screen. I believe the driver i installed is the Geforce 340.52 driver, didnt really look since it just prompted me and i simply clicked yes.

Specs:

intel i5 4670k

evga GTX 770

sabertooth z97

16 GB of RAM

windows 8.1 64bits

I've looked this up and i've found that some people get this during their new install of windows, however my windows were operating just fine prior to the update.

Thanks in advance!

Try reinstalling the drivers, if you can't then try in safemode
