I need a new laptop. Please help!

Hello guys, the school year is starting up again and I am in desperate need of a new laptop for note taking in classes and personal use. My current laptop has gotten really slow and the battery has gone bad, and I cannot stand it anymore. Here are my requirements:

 

- Must have a 5+ hour battery life.

- Must have a good keyboard. I am a fast typist (80-90 WPM) and I need a keyboard that will stand it.

- Must be $400 or less.

- Must be able to watch Twitch streams on high to source quality without any hiccups. My internet connection at home can handle it.

Microsoft will soon be releasing $199 and $249 Windows laptops to compete with Chromebooks for back to school.

I need this laptop relatively soon. Are any of these announced machines released yet?

You could also do a system recover of the drive, add 4GB ram and buy a new battery on your current laptop - Just an option.

 

Edit: Having 8GB ram makes a Hugh difference.
