Replacing Water Cooling?

Hello everyone! I'm new to these forums, so please redirect me to other topics if you need to.

This past Christmas, my friend got me a gaming computer. (Still thanking him xD)

The only thing that I don't really understand about the computer is the water cooling. I don't really know how to replace it. I believe that it needs to be replaced every couple years, but I don't know if it's a complicated process or if it's just "plug this in here, plug this in there and you're done."

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! ;)

If it's a closed loop you don't need to do anything (until it breaks, everything does eventually)

If it's a custom loop, you unplug everything on your PC, turn the PSU switch to off, hold down the power button until you see no more led's lit up on the motherboard. Then, as carefully as you can, remove whichever tube will be the best to drain the system.

Get some extra tubing, place 1 tub on the pump intake, place that into a jug of distilled water, and run another tube off of the return from the cpu block to (anywhere you can drain it to) and run the pump a bit (turn it on and off, don't just turn it on and leave it) and do this until you have flushed the system to your satisfaction. Then reconnect everything the way it was, and slowly refill the system by filling the reservoir, run the pump for a few seconds or until the reservoir is empty, then refill, run, refill, and repeat until the system is full.

Anyone is welcome to correct me on anything, but that's how I'd do it.

Would help if you could show us some pictures of the whole set up

I think I got the problem solved. This is the system: http://www.walmart.com/ip/CyberPower-CPFA1010-Liquid-Cooling-System-120mm-Radiator-and-Fan/21097528

I didn't know the name of the water cooling system, and I managed to get a hold of the friend who got the computer. I read about the system and I'm pretty sure I won't have to worry about it for a while.

Sorry for all of the inconvenience everyone!
