I love the Air 540, but alot of people don't like the design of it. Personally, I love the design, but I also like the Noctua colour scheme so I guess my aesthetics meter is a bit off kilter.

There are a lot of good cases, let me list a couple one you can check out.

NZXT Switch 810 and Cooler Master Storm Stryker  if you are into huge cases.

The Phantom 530, 630 and Phantom are liked by many people.

The Define R4 and H440 are what most people recommends on the forums.

Lian Li PC-7H or the PC-A51 and Silverstone Temjin SST-TJ04B-E are made of aluminum and have a sleek and serious look, pretty high quality.

On the Larger side the Corsair 750D is popular, and other users get stuff like the Shinobi XL and similar.

Corsair has the C70, 600T, and 760T which are nice.

But for someone looking for a plain sleek aesthetic I can recommend the Nanoxia Deep Silence 2 (or any other case from the Silence series) it comes in white or black with a couple variants. Nanoxia it's the german company who kinda started the quiet optimized cases. Companies like Fractal Design adopted very similar cases like those Nanoxia had. They are really well built.

I have the zalman. It is a sexy beast, but the USB 3 passthroughs are a joke for the time it was made. Also, the fans are all molex which means wires running across the top of the gpu (back fan) and the 2 side fans means you need a clump of molex power cables below your HDDS. You cant reattatch the PCI bracket covers, and removing them is a pain which will warp the case.

Other than that, I LOVE IT! it is sexy and if I have to stare at a boring rectangle for years, Id rather just leave the parts on the table. That being said, the NZXT phantom 410 is also a good looking case, but seems better than the zalman

Corsair C70, Fractal Design R4 it really depends on what you want. Corsair C70 is more of an aggressive look and a Fractal Design is more like a classy computer. You can imagine a Corsair C70 being kinda military-styled and Fractal Design is much more classy.

Let me save you the headache.

I have/had the Define R4 in white. (waiting for the Phanteks Evolv to release) and that thing was a huge disappointment. I'll just give a run down on why that case is bad.

- Red power LED is actually the same color orange as a stove

- Front plastic door is very cheap

- Plastic and metal white doesn't stay the same for long (yellowing looks ugly)

- Paintjob is cheap and chips even when undoing the thumbscrews to put an ODD or the side panels in place

- Top has way too much flex when nothing is mounted

- Fan controller is very limited

- Not very quiet if you want to use your own fans (any case is quiet when the included fans are anemic with air flow)

I wanted to love this case so much because of the hype, but after using it, the cable management is the only real pro I can give this case. The R4 in white is bad, don't waste your money.

Do keep in mind, the previous case before giving the R4 a chance was a Lian Li. The reason I didn't keep using the Lian Li was because the internal layout is awful in the PC-V354. it was pure form over function. But after getting used to that build quality, Fractal cases just seem cheap.

I'd go with a Black&Red H440.

The PSU 'NZXT' covers LEDS can be changed or disconnected. I've changed mine so I can change the colour and brightness.
