When will the Shield tablet ship?

I've had a preorder for the shield tablet (with cover and controller ofc) at memoryexpress since the announcement (placed my order less than 2 hrs later)

From what I understood the ship date would be the 29th... but It's now the 30th and my order status still shows 'waitingforparts". I am leaving the country on the 13th for one month so if it dosen't ship by the end of the week I will be missing my package...

Anyone else preorder, or preorder from memoryexpress? This is my first time ordering from them and so far I'm not having a great experience.

There might have been a delay in getting initial stock, maybe call them to find out when they expect their shipment to arrive

Yeah, I've called twice but they keep telling me they're going to call me back with an ETA. Normally I couldn't care less how long something takes but as I am going to be away for a month and was planning on using the device on my trip I'd like to receive it before I leave on the 12th. The possibility of the item being sent back and losing my device is also something I'd rather not deal with as the post service will probably just leave it on the doorstep.

 

EDIT: After calling a few more times someone finally told me that the ETA for the items in my order is tomorrow, and they should ship tomorrow or the following day. I really hope this ETA includes the cover and controller because I'd hate to be without one on a 8 hour flight.

I ordered the Tablet on Amazon at around 10:25 AM today and chose one-day-shipping. It was only $4 extra since I have Amazon Prime. Amazon says it shipped out this afternoon and it'll arrive tomorrow as expected. My situation is the opposite to yours though - I'm heading to the US on vacation for two weeks and had to ensure I got it before I left.
