OLD DELL SCREEN BROKEN?

VeinBe

I have an SAMSUNG 24" and an old DELL which you find in CS office map on counter strike.

My dell screen has stopped working, and one of the errors come from the 230V adaptor is a green blinking light, it used to be continuesly lit. One of the led lights on the front panel of the screen which is supposed to tell you what setup you are using, DVI, VGA etc is also blinking. However, the led light showing if the power button is turned on or not is not blinking. Is it the power adaptor which is broken?

I would say the power adapter is broken, because if something would be wrong with the monitor itself, the PSU should not take any notice of that.

Order a new PSU online and if it doesn't work just return it.

Edit: Maybe the PSU notices that the Monitor is going on and off. Do you have a Power consumption meter?
