Corsair link: yo dawg I heard you liked controlling fans

brownninja97

Firstly if this article is written badly its because ive only had 2 hours of sleep after a 30 hour day, i feel like i was hit by a car im still deciding what type of car.

95a.jpg

So this beast is Corsairs answer to NZXT and praise the lord it supports 4 pin fans(linus keep it in your pants).

To power this guy you need an internal usb 2.0 port and a sata cable(doesnt matter if its a sata 2).

95b.jpg

So you can control voltages and stuff and if you have more corsair products then you can monitor them as well. Also any RGB products can be controlled via the software as well

95d.jpg

As you can see there are numbers and stuff, im too tired for this stuff you guys identify it.

No clue on the price or release date

Get rekt NZXT.

That's really neat, as long as it doesn't cost tonnes of money it should be a really good product.

Awesome

The link part of my h100i I find really impressive (though the interface is a bit OTT)

This would be great to add more fans (though I dont want more fans)

"Commander Mini" Hmm...

I wonder if it will come with a picture of a midget in full combat dress :P

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

...

no information on wattage for each fan channel

...

only six channels, so enough for ONE radiator

sigh

why can't someone do one of these for actual enthusiast grade builds? one with enough fan headers for radiators without forcing me to deal with hooking up multiple fan hubs, splitters, AND channels?

So is it actually controlling 4 pin fans with PWM or does the 4th pin do nothing like it does on nearly every fan header except the one CPU fan header?

@ShadowCaptain sorry I stole it. But it was too good.

Corsair to NZXT:

☐ rekt
☐ not rekt

Tyrannosaurus rekt

This is a good move forward. 3 pin is silly to keep using. PWM should be cheap enough by now to use en masse. Even one of these would cover my rig nicely.

Well not if you link the pushing/pulling fans with a 4pin pwm splitter... Also most people won't have more then 6 fans in their case..

IP.Board default FTW.

It looks neat. But... Little overkill just for an H80i. :P

And they answer to Linus's call about the NZXT Grid issues with having no 4 pin slots. Good job yet again Corsair!

Noice. That would have me set. Plus, if you have one of these per rad, it would make a nice setup for an overkill style build.
