I use Bittorrent Sync

A bittorrent sync folder is my default saveing folder for snipping tool but i might look into these softwares.

I use that too for sycing my screenshot folder between my pc's.

I press the print screen button on my keyboard

Agreed. Greenshot is the superior tool here IMO compared to others I've used. I use ShareX for webm recordings with automatic FTP upload along side greenshot.

I might get the auto upload to photobucket plugin for greenshot but most of them i just need for myself and it really not hard to drag and drop them into my web browser the few i do upload.

Yeah I use Greenshot, my dad uses Snagit, but that's because his work uses it and he gets it for free.

and for a open-source solution I would recommend http://getgreenshot.org/

so a +1 on that. it was used by a 1000+ employees enterprise.

I used puush for a long time, but kept getting annoyed by their website going offline at the worst moment when you wanted to share something. Moved to ShareX - not only does it have way more features and customisability, including video capture, but you can upload to loads of different hosts, its unlikely that all of them will be down at once. Since I used puush for a long time, I set my key bindings to do the same in ShareX as in Puush, making it much easier to make the jump.

i use greenshot, its light and free, and it lets you upload things right to imgur. Has always worked for me

Personally I use imgur because I don't like how puush deletes shit after awhile. 

 

snipping tool --> copy paste into imgur isn't hard.

Have been using this for a few years now, didn't know people were unaware of this awesome tool  

Keep highlighting some useful freeware whenever you find it Luke !

 

Note to other people: it's good for a lot of stuff, but will not always work in every game you trying to screenshot, because of how some games are displayed.

(active window is sometimes a black box while the graphics of the game are displayed elsewhere.)

I use ShareX I don't see any benefit too switching to be honest.

Lets me upload to whatever service I like.
