Corsair Force GT 240GB

Lasted 3 years and still is in great condition, no errors or relocations. Running servers 24/7/365

Read and Write speeds are lower than advertised (~300MBps) but I never tested it when it was new. I'm guessing its just because its old and I need a clean install.

NEW PC build: Blank Heaven   minimalist white and black PC     Old S340 build log "White Heaven"        The "LIGHTCANON" flashlight build log        Project AntiRoll (prototype)        Custom speaker project

Spoiler

Ryzen 3950X | AMD Vega Frontier Edition | ASUS X570 Pro WS | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB | NZXT H500 | Seasonic Prime Fanless TX-700 | Custom loop | Coolermaster SK630 White | Logitech MX Master 2S | Samsung 980 Pro 1TB + 970 Pro 512GB | Samsung 58" 4k TV | Scarlett 2i4 | 2x AT2020

Money. Better spent somwere else.

For example, i spend 100$ on an imac g4 with photoshop7 and a wacom drawing pad instead of a 240gb ssd.

The thing with ssd's is that you can't understand the vast improvement over hdd's until you have tried it first hand. I won't be going back to ssd boot anytime soon.

I'd rather spend $60 upgrading my rig with a 120gb SSD than waste money on an old used computer.
