Best Budget (>100) Microphone with Extreme Noise Cancellation

lukezon

So I have been looking for a new microphone and so far have been thinking that the Blue Yeti is the best way for me to go.  I will buy used on amazon for $80.  My only concern is the noise cancellation.  I have an extremely loud AC in the back of my room (5ft behind me) and am worried that it will sound very loud through skype/teamspeak.  Currently I use the built in mic on my G930's and that seems to be working fine, I'm just worried about the sensitivity of a higher grade microphone.  Using a software solution is not an option for me.

Is this microphone a good choice?  Is there something else that I should consider?

I haven't thought of a good signature yet.

ModMic 4.0 sounds fantastic and has pretty good noise cancellation. You might want to give that a look/try.

Edit: Voice cancellation? I meant noise, geez I'm drunk.

I'm looking for more of a stand alone solution as I like to change out what headphones/speakers I use frequently

The modmic is easily moved from headset to headset but quite difficult to use without headphones when you want to use speakers yead :P. Don't know a good standalone off the top of my head sorry.

I have a loud window A/C unit and no one mentions is in temspeak when I use my CAD U37 (very sensitive mic, no cardioid patterns).

You can mount the mod mic on a solid surface. One guy mounted it to the back of his monitor.
