is this a good deal? - NAD C320 for 70 euros

Kaasgeelheid

Hey everyone,

I am about to buy this amp for the 70 euros and I honestly am not sure if this is a good price or not.

All I know is that the upgraded version of this amp goes used for about 170 (the NAD C320BEE)

The ad says it's in near perfect condition and I will be checking it out to see if that's actually the case.

So, should I be looking into buying it or are there better options for the money?

Any help is very much appreciated

I know :P I'll be using it with passive speakers, most likely the Tannoy Mercury V1i

Bit over kill then, would probably be better off bi amping with a Lepai amp, but depends on how much you like money.

I'd say if it really is in near mint condition then go for it. 70€ seems like a fair price. I don't have any personal experience with NAD amps but from what I've read about them, they should be atleast decent.

hmmm, while I don't exactly know what bi-amping means (I'm new to this speaker setup thing, still learning), I'm all for saving money.

So how would I go about doing that?

One amp per channel, and thwen splitting you signal to the two amps.

Alright, I think this is the last question, what would I need to split the signal correctly?

I saw some setups where they bi-amp with a crossover and I don't know if this is necessary

And thanks for the help so far, really appreciated

I *think* I follow

If this is the correct way of thinking, I think I have found my solution. I'll be saving about 20 euros with this.

Pretty much, though it needs to have 3.5mm on one end and rca on the other

I'll be using my Scarlett 2i2 as dac though, which has line out. A male to male Y-cable would be optimal then, right?

Yeees, probably. What is the specific output? Trrs or coax?

"Two balanced monitor outputs - 1/4" TRS jack" - 2i2 specifications 2014

I guess that is the answer.

Then that as one side and rca as the other and you will be good, could probably go super ham with four speakers each with their own amp running in stereo
