HDD to SSD Transfer?

Tie Lightning

Hey guys, so in the next week or so i was planning on adding an SSD to my build. Everything i currently have is on my WD Black 1Tb. I still have my windows installation disk and key so doing a clean install in no real problem. But is there a way i could do a clean windows install on my new SSD, then uninstall or delete windows form my HDD and still use the HDD for storage? Thanks :)

you could maybe create a back up and load it on the SSD then just format the HDD

I would suggest backing up all the necessary information and formatting the HDD. If you do not have some leftover drives then you can still use your HDD as secondary storage after installing windows on the new SSD but it won't be as clean as you like.
