RAM blocking cpu cooler, any other ways to put it.

I made the mistake of getting high profile RAM and have just discovered the cooler(hyper 212 evo) does not fit.

Any other ways to align it?

I don't think turning it towards the back of the case would work well as there is an exhaust fan there.

Take off the heat spreader, they really don't do anything other than aesthetics

there is an exhaust fan there...So they would both be competing for air.

Is it ok to have it facing towards the top of the case?or is the bottom better?

You could have the fan at the top but reverse the fan so it is Intaking from the bottom. That way the graphics card won't suffocate it

you can put fan in pull config instead of pull.

you remove the brackets on the fan put them the other side of the fan ,then you place the fan at the back of the hyper212.

It is the hyper evo you are telling me to remove the brackets on?

Yes.

The fan comes off from the bracket...

If a fan sucks in air on one side, its got to blow air out from the other side. Flip the fan around so it sucks air in through the heatsink and blows out towards the exhaust fan.

Can you please stop making new threads with this same question.

Mount the fan on the other side in pull, then it will be over your motherboard heatsinks and not your RAM.

EDIT: Like this:

And: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/188412-dont-know-which-way-to-orient-cpu-cooler/#entry2536640

EDIT: You need to unscrew the two plastic clip things from the fan, then screw them in on the other side, then attatch it so that the fan pulls the air through the CPU cooler (from the front of the case to the back, as shown in the picture above). If you were unsure of how to dot this you should have replied to our points on the other threads you made, instead of posting it again. If you have any more quesitons about this issue, please ask :)

I haven't realize the OP has asked this question a few times already...

USE A SCREWDRIVER, NOT A BUTTER KNIFE to remove and install the screws (from one of his other threads).

I've heard that before, but is it actually true?

I ask because my NH-U14s is blocking 2 slots on my Gigabyte GA-Z97MX-Gaming 5, and if I removed the heatsinks it "might" fit 2 more Adata sticks

unless you have super high speed ram, you should be fine with the heat spreaders off

Just your standard 1600. I do prefer the look of them with the heat spreaders on though.
