Someone Help me!
I just built a PC and am using the Gigabyte g1.sniper motherboard, and for some reason in the Windows 8.1 desktop it says: "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you need to e-install the driver."

Use the disk, use the disk! - Or download it to a flash drive from another pc.

The most common result of insufficient wattage is a paperweight that looks like a PC

OK, if you have an optical drive, install the motherboard disc. It'll include your ethernet drivers on it.

Multiple sniper mobos can't check if it comes with some sort of network adapter. If so, use the disc and get online to get the rest of drivers.

should say something about LAN/ethernet. Post a quick pic of the install screen when you put the disc in and someone can tell you exactly what you're looking for.

That's okay as well, but the drivers on the disc are usually not as "up to date" as the one's on the gigabyte website. The importance of getting them from the website depends on how significant the updates were.
