HTPC Prodigy "Senshi"

Hy so this is my first buildlog :) I will do this is in buildstages as budget is a problem and I don't know yet how much power I really want in this build.

 

The idea was to create a small rig with decent outside and quality inside meant to use for daily surfing the net or later upgrade to a fulltrigger gaming system. So expect the first stage to be "boring" if you searched for something outstanding. 

 

OK. I warned you :P Let's start this thing.

 

 

Stage 1 HTPC

 

Case: Prodigy white arrived

 

CPU: Intel G3258 arrived

 

CPU Cooler: BeQuiet ShadowRock Slim (Similar Noctua U14S) arrived

 

Mainboard: Asus Z97I ITX arrived

 

PSU: BeQuiet L8 530W arrived

 

Ram: G.Skill Sniper 1866mhz 8GB arrived

 

Fancontroller: EKL Alpenföhn 6 channel. (Lamptron FC6 for US users) arrived

 

Fans: Bitfenix Spectre on top, BeQuiet PureWings 2 for front and rear exhaust. arrived

 

HDD: WD Blue 1TB 64mb cache arrived

 

GPU: None. Not needed in this stage lol air is here

 

 

Stage 2 Custom Loop

 

1x Phobya CPU-Cooler UC-2 LT- Black Edition
1x Phobya G-Changer 240 V.2
1x Phobya DC12-220 Pump
1x Phobya Balancer 150 
2x Phobya G-Silent 12 or 2x Arkasa Viper
1x Y-Adapter for fans
Fittings 13/10
Tube 13/10 Alphacool

Followed, I love prodigy builds. Just a guess, but does the 'secret item' have something to do with an actual katana?

I soooooo knew, that this is going to be on it. Btw.. If I wouldn't be in my holidays I would have merged it for you. You know, I have sick paint skills. (not really, But I have skills enough to do simple work.. or Wallpaper in all sizes \o/ )

 

Meh mailed it to my mum she can do that. Once she isn't lazy aswell xD

i would say sao, although the sin one looks interesting, side panel kinda meh though. what anime is it?

SAO, because I love SAO O.o

 

But the Lucky one doesn't really fit with the name for your build, SIN one is probably the best if you want to stick close to your builds name but other than that, I'd still pick SAO c:

Yepp sidepanels are messed, blame my photoshop level :) The girl is a fanart of Blood C. So far I haven't got better ideas for the side decals on this one.

Thanks :) Name can be changed if so. The first idea was to go with sin but then this images popped up. Zerochan is truly evil.

Well, if you don't mind me giving you ideas for a name if you would change :P

You could name it "Senshi" (Warrior, Combatant, Soldier in Japanese), would fit for both SIN and SAO, don't know that much about Lucky. :S

Though of something for Lucky Star one, (not that innovative either xD)

But, you could also use the Japanese word for Star, Sutā or Hoshi, both meaning "star"

Blame this guy Unbr34k4bl3 My favourite fagget suggested it so it's on the list LOL. The crowd has been voted so it's S.A.O themed. I'm in contact with a few companys researching the price for the decals.

 

Other parts are bought but the reseller is out of stock with the asus board. So far I'm waiting for them handling the ticket as they where a good sellingpartner in the past.
