Is the Gigabyte GV-N760OC-4GD a good graphics card for its price?

VexStriker

Hello, I'm looking to create my own personal gaming computer. So far I'm missing 4 components, the graphics card, ram, HDD/SDD (debating whether to go with the hybrid or not), and power supply. I want my computer to last me for the next 5 years at least without having any major changes unless a part malfunctions. I am trying to get the most for my $ and I need this to last at least 4 years without malfunctions.

Anyway my option for graphics card has been this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125494

So far I have:

Case:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146076&cm_re=nzxt_source-_-11-146-076-_-Product

Motherboard:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131873

CPU:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113286

Optical Drive:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204

and all the fans ill be using.

So if anyone wants to help me finish this up (I have some parts in mind for the leftover components I need) it would be greatly appreciated

R9 280x is 25 pounds more expensive but a lot stronger. Pick this as you will never really need the 4GB unless you run some serious multi-monitor or 1440p+ resolutions.

Edit: Since you're getting an FX-6300 I highly recommend getting a Cooler Master 212 EVO to cool it properly.

Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Keep in mind that newer games will take more and more VRAM. Take Watchdogs for example which needs 3GB to run in ultra.

Edit: R9 280X is maybe the way to go. Take a look at AnandTech bench http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1038?vs=1041

Thanks for the help guys! Out of all the choices you all have shown to me I'll most likely go with Archangel1994's choice of Saffire 100363L Radeon, thanks for all the help! :D
