So I've been messing around with some overclocking with my 4770k and it's definitely been a challenging one. Right now I'm sitting at a 4.3ghz overclock. I've noticed though using stress test such as Aida64 that my thermals spike up almost to throttling on the CPU. My aftermarket cooler is the h100i with dual Noctua 120mm fans. Is the h100i not adequate for cooling the 4770k? I've also used AI suite for the first time and tried the optimized configuration for overclocking and was able to boot on 4.6 ghz but the thermals through stress testing were too high. So I just wondering if temps were holding anyone else back with the 4770k?

Dont use aida. It gives unrealistic temps and instability. The best tool is IETU.

How is airflow in the case? How much hot air from the GPU is being blown through the H100i's rad?

All the other temps are fine. The overclock on my gpu doesn't reach over 70 degrees and my board is at 29. AIDA is saying that my CPU gets to around 90-95 degrees for all cores at 4.4ghz at 1.2v.

I just got corsair link to show my fans and they are set at a custom interval. At 30 degrees they run at 339 at 40 they jump to 700 at 65 they go to 1000 and then at 70 they go to 1200 and at 80 degrees they max. The pump is running at 2200. Could it not be seated right on the CPU?
