Wrightbk

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/TqBVmG I've been messing with this build forever. Everything has been changed at the point from the Mk. 1. Now at Mk.100 The one thing i'm not sure of is if I want to chage to the 780 or keep the MSI R9 290.And/Or Change the CPU to a I7 or keep the I5. What do you guys think?

I prefer not to spend more then 1500 dollars. I plan to use this for gaming and maybe editing in the future. Sorry for not posting that info. Carlton.

For the price of the GTX 780 in the build you can actually get an R9 290X. Not a great brand perhaps, but for ~US$20 more you can get a Gigabyte. The 290 generally has better performance than the 780 and the 290X is superior. I would suggest going with AMD given current pricing.

I would suggest a better and more powerful psu before investing resources to improve the cpu.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
