[US] Corsair H55($50) + NZXT Kraken G10($25) NO MIRs!

Faceman

Corsair H55 - $50

NZXT Kraken G10 - $25

Liquid Cool your GPU for $75 + Shipping without those pesky mail in rebates.

Excellent review of the G10 using a GTX 780 Titan and R9 290X + 140mm Radiator

Also consider purchasing some RAMSinks to combat the VRM temperatures.  Here is a very popular model that does fit inside of the G10. Cosmos 8-Pack RAM Heatsinks - $9

Deal expires 7/30/2014

I am very interested in purchasing this for myself, the price is certainly right, but I am not sure if the VRM cooling is up to snuff and under heavy loads this cooling solution seems to be louder than the stock cooling for Nvidia cards.  Anyone have some experience with the G10 that could share their thoughts?

Wow nice. The cooler isn't 140mm, which is a shame, but that's still a nice deal.

Be my guess and pay $5 more for the same product.

I made this into a pair "Hot Deal" because for only $75 + Shipping, you can water cool your GPU.

really no point in watercooling a gpu if the vrms get hot, no real extra oc potential.

For the AMD cards, it seems that the fan directly over the VRM is a much better solution than the stock heatsink. For Nvidia cards, it is not worth it because as seen in the thermal pictures, the VRMs are reaching 100C while with the stock heatsink, only 70C.

Conclusion: Great solution for AMD cards, bad solution for Nvidia cards, unless you can find a way to properly cool the VRMs.

The G10 is $30. It's just the bracket. You have to buy the CPU cooler for it. Not much of a deal to me.

The H55 is on sale for only $50 without mail in rebates, which is a compatible CPU cooler.  The G10 is also $5 off its MSRP.  Together, you can liquid cool your compatible GPU for only $75 + shipping.  This would usually cost $100+

The VRMs on a 290x still get very toasty under a G10, the only thing this cools with any level of success is the GPU itself

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Check out the thermal pictures in that review I posted, it actually improves with the G10 compared to the stock Heatsink.  I forget which model of 290X they are using though.

Another thing you can do, which is recommended is add some RAMsinks.
