Should I wait for next gen? Look in signature for future build. I can wait 2-3 months, but I do hve the money now... so, should I wait, or no?

I'm thinking the same thing.

I'm waiting. If i'm going to spend the money on a 780ti I might as well wait for 880.

If you keep waiting for the next new thing, which will inevitably be coming, you may as well never upgrade because you're always waiting.

Exactly! In the future you will probably need a new computer every week just to keep up! With DDR4 and quantum computer around the corner the AWESOME computers of today will be useless piles of circuit boards. Technology is moving crazy fast.

In a bit of a similar situation myself - however I think I am having to upgrade sooner rather than later.

3d renders are frequently using over 16GB of RAM and my motherboard can not use more than 16GB of RAM >.<
Either get a new mobo that supports 32GB plus the 32GB RAM and old CPU, or get a new CPU, plus more RAM and a new mobo anyway!

Should I wait for next gen? Look in signature for future build. I can wait 2-3 months, but I do hve the money now... so, should I wait, or no?

If you are able to wait for a while, I would wait for the next series.

 

If you can't, then I would just get some kind of 700 series card.
