Gaming PC for friend

Daeice

I would replace the one DIMM of Ram with 2 just for better performance in the memory section. However all looks good.

Other than those prices.. Don't take this the wrong way, I just don't know but are the prices in (im guessing) Australia alot more expensive than somewhere like the US or Canada?

Also one thing I did notice is that you don't have a CPU cooler. Does your friend want to use the Stock? Because for 20-30$ more you can get one that is much quieter.

Go with two ram sticks and get a water cooler or at the very least a aftermarket cooler for that 4770k.

with that build I'd suggest dropping the i7  for an i5 4690K, getting two 4gb sticks of ram instead of one 8gb stick s oyou can use dual channel, add a samsung 840 evo 250gb ssd, upgrade the gtx 770 to a gtx 780.

Get a Z87 motherboard and a CPU cooler if you want to overclock the CPU, if you don't then i would suggest dropping the CPU to the Xeon 1230v3 or the Core i7-4770 (non K)

I would suggest a radeon R9 290 instead of the GTX 770 as it's a lot more powerful for gaming and comes with 4GB of VRAM.

You should also consider a cheaper case to get room in the budget for a 120GB SSD to install windows and programs, it's much faster.

| CPU: Core i7-8700K @ 4.89ghz - 1.21v  Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING  CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 |
| GPU: MSI RTX 3080Ti Ventus 3X OC  RAM: 32GB T-Force Delta RGB 3066mhz |
| Displays: Acer Predator XB270HU 1440p Gsync 144hz IPS Gaming monitor | Oculus Quest 2 VR
