Can I delete any of these partitions?

Sooooooo.... I got my new laptop a while back and I wasn't too happy to see, with all bloatware removed, the 1 terabyte hard drive only gave me 870 or so gigabytes of free space to work with. I went into the Windows drive manager to check out how Lenovo partitioned the drive, and was quite surprised to see the drive split into 6 partitions. I don't know the contents of all of these partitions, so I was wondering if any of these besides the two that say recovery can be reformatted to be part of the boot/primary partition.

 

For reference, here's what the drive looks like:

It's probably for other system resources for the laptop, so I wouldn't.

I would recommend just reformatting. It's common with all laptops, they are always preloaded with junk. There is a guide here on LTT somewhere that shows you how to find your product key if no windows sticker, so good luck and happy hunting.

first let me say that theme is awesome, second those are all recovery partitions for if your PC ever craps out you can still recover it (Windows already has recovery options)

I wouldn't if I where you. You could merge the C and D drives with something like paragon partition magic (or similar program), but I'd leave the others alone.

It's probably just the fact the my wallpaper is dark grey, so... yeah. I don't even remember what I did for the actual taskbar color.

doesn't Windows 8 change the colour based on your wallpaper?

Out of the box, yes. But you can change it if you feel like it.

 

But OP, I wouldn't even touch those partitions. Just ignore them. :)
