Basically Ubisoft released a flaming bag of excrement as a PC port of that game, and when we all came to the door and stamped on it nobody from there felt bad and cleaned up the shitty mess, instead it has been left to fester as an everlasting memorial of why we shall not give money to Ubisoft.

Did this poor soul buy this not knowing? I pirated it because it came out 5 days early. It was stuttering but I just wanted to play it early and thought, oh this is pre release with pre release drivers. This game is fantastic. Little did I know that 2 months later and it still runs as well as the pirated version. They put out 1 patch that did positively nothing.

This is quite funny because I don't have too much problems running Watch_Dogs on ultra at 1080p. I get about 45-50 FPS average with my 760 and 4670k @ 4.1 ghz. I guess its just luck of the draw

For future reference if I pirate one of their games (which I certainly will) im not going to buy from them for years to come. I bought Blood dragon on steam not realising that it was double drmed by uplay. My activation code won't work. Emailed their support. They won't reply. So I was basically robbed by ubisoft. At least they can taste it from me now.

Dude, nobody cares about your frame rate. It's the stutter that is the issue. I can run it at 100 fps ultra and it's still a pile of crap.

Does that give any fps improvements?

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

Thats not what I meant, I should have added that I don't get the stuttering issue. Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode? It seemed to solve some of the other issues I had with the shitty ass game. And I can't see anywhere in the first post where the word 'stutter' is used, plus the title of the thread is 'watchdogs LAGGING'

Often when people use the word lagging, they do mean stutter. All stutter is is frames lagging. Hence, Lag.

Uhm, I have a 760 w/4690k and it runs at 28-40ish, probably around 35 average but it dips and rises all the time which makes it even worse. It does it with medium textures and medium preset, or high textures ultra preset... it doesn't even make a difference, going with medium textures reduces stutter just a tiny little bit but it's still as bad otherwise.

My 4670k is running @ 4.1ghz, 760 is at  1122mhz so with boost it gets some pree stable FPS. I noticed that having 16gb of ram also helped as I noticed the system to be using up to 8.2 gb of ram whilst playing the game.

This is what happens when something gets developed for a console and then ported to PC and not vice versa.

My 760 is running at 1177MHz Boost (actually runs a bit higher since it never gets close to 80C), 1702MHz memory (2GB vRAM version). I do only have 8GB of RAM, pretty sure it never came close to filling them though.
