Whats wrong with your current monitor?

The most common result of insufficient wattage is a paperweight that looks like a PC

a k70 is waaay cheaper than a 1440p monitor.........

Also whats your GPU?

Chances are you can't run at 1440p with good fps.

get the monitor if your coming from 1080p: imo backlighting is just a big gimmick. I wish I bought an HKBB instead of my ducky YOTD

I have a 2019 macbook pro with 64gb of ram and my gaming pc has been in the closet since 2018

It's hard to say huh, I think its a pimp decision you need to make for yourself, I would say save up for both at once, prices could come down by the time you get the money and technically you already have more than half?

Save up a bit more and buy both if you can! If not, the 1440p monitor is more worth it IMO
