AMD FX 8320 or AMD A10-7850k

Which is good among this AMD FX 8320 or AMD A10-7850k and which should i opt for.

i will be adding a dedicated GPU later i want this processor for gaming

8320 is far superior as a CPU but it has no iGPU, so you must add the GPU now or be without display output.

If you plan to add a GPU do not buy the A10-7850K, instead wait until you have the money for the 8320 and a GPU.

 

The alternative to the sitation would be using an Intel platform, as pretty much all the CPUs have integrated graphics, however at the price point, for gaming, I'd take the FX 8320 over anything from Intel.

Simple answer: none

 

Instead you should cheap out on the CPU, to get a better GPU. A fx 8320 with a R7 250 is a pretty unbalanced build.

The i5 will have a decent iGPU, and you'll have a better CPU when you decide to upgrade to a dedicated graphics card.

You can play most games on low or medium settings.

You're better off not getting the 8320 because the A10-7850K has the same CPU power as 750K or 760K i think. Better of investing on a better Graphics Card and a decent Processor that won't cause too much bottlenecks. If you're on a budget, The Athlon X4-760K + R7 260X is a great value.

If you're getting this card go for the a10. Linus made a video about this so you should check it out.

If you plant to get any other (not r7 250/240) you should go with the fx 8320

And no you wont be able to play ganes w/o a GPU with 8320 at all.

without a dedicated gpu with the FX8320 you will NOT be able to play any game, it dont have an igpu on the chip, its a stand a lone CPU.

if you are looking at getting a R7 250 then for sure go for the A10-7850k and get a 2 gig edition 250x graphics card so you can do duel graphics mode. and it should play games on medium settings as long as your system ram is fast (as fast as the m/board will take) and get the AMD performance or gaming series memory designed to run this package together.

yes this is true, and yup the m/boards with a supported display chip is basically for display so like a work computer that just does files, internet, documents etc. but NOT for gaming or high end 3d drawing etc.
