Building A PC for Gaming / Editing & Streaming.

Hey Guys,

I am looking to buy a computer for gaming, editing & streaming, on the Budget of £1500 maybe £1600 (gbp) this also includes 2 monitors, keyboard etc.

I am looking to custom buy but on PC Specialist or Cyberpower as I don't have the time to build myself atm.

This is what I have come up with after looking at a few others, but really I don't even know if all this is any good for what I want and so I look for your criticisms  :D

CPU:  AMD FX-8350 Eight Core CPU (4.00GHz/8mb CACHE/AM3+)
Motherboard:  ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 (DD3, USB3.0, 6Gb/s)
Memory:  16gb KINGSTON HYPPER-X FURY DUEL-DDR3 1600MHz (2x8GB)
Storage:  2TB WD2003FZEX SATA 6Gb/s 64MB CACHE / 120GB KINGSTON HYPERX 3K SSD SATA 6Gb/s
Video Card:  4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770 - 2DVI, HDMI, DP -3D Vision Ready
Case:  Coolermaster Cosmos SE Gaming Tower (windowed)
Power Supply:  CORSAIR 750W RM SERIES MODULAR 80 PLUS
Cooling:  Corsair H60 Hydro Series CPU Cooler, 2 x 12cm Case Fans rear/roof
Optical Drive:  24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER +R/+RW/RAM
SoundCard:  Onboard 8 Channel (7.1) High Def Audio
Operating System:  8.1 64 bit Windows      (EDIT: WILL BE WINDOWS 7)
Extras:  Internal 52 in 1 Card Reader, Extra 2 port USB 3.0 Internal PCI-E Card and NZXT Sentry 2 Fan Controller
Total:  £1,275.00 inc Vat (pcspecialist)

Leaving me £325.00 (maybe £415.00) for Mouse, Keyboard, Headset and 2 monitors (Cables etc.).

If I have missed anything out please let me know, I look forward to your opinions on possible changes.

But please note that any changes need to be available on either Cyberpower or Pc Specialist and not pcpartspicker.

Thankyou.

I woke up one morning thinking about wolves and realized that wolf packs function as families.

Everyone has a role, and if you act within the parameters of your role, the whole pack succeeds,

and when that falls apart, so does the pack.  Just take a moment to think about that.  ;)

Do you need a sound card? that stuff is pretty useless nowaday unless you have like 1000$ headset/speaker system etc. IDK about the price on that site specifically, but with 1500 GBP I think this is way better

You're paying quite a lot of money for an AMD processor and a 770... I'd strongly suggest you just build it yourself, save a bunch of cash.

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

I know the parts are interchangeable... but if you do buy the FX-8350, the box that the CPU comes in clearly states that for the best experience use AMD Radeon GPU. If you use the AMD GPU... you could also save some cash for more games to put on that massive disk drive. Either way you go though... Nvidia/Intel, or AMD/Radeon, your choices look like they will do excellent for many years to come. Good luck.

Thankyou very much for the replies guys, it is just trying to get the parts to match up on either PC Specialist or Cyberpower.

As I just don't have the time to build the PC right now, so I am willing to spend that bit extra to get it built for me (MAX: £1600 (gbp) this also includes mouse, etc).

I know it is a big ask but if anyone could take a quick look on either website to see what I should get for my money, that would be a tremendous help.

https://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/  or  https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/

I am willing to go other places however to order the 2 Monitors (24" 2 ms), Keyboard (corsair vengeance k70), Mouse (logitech g9x optical)& Headset (undecided), etc.

I can't stress enough how helpful this is. Like I said I don't mind paying a bit more for it built, but I just don't know what to choose

EDIT: I am also going for a Red LED etc Colour-Scheme .

EDIT.2: The Gaming will mostly be BF4, DAYZ Standalone etc. (Want the option to play on Max Graphics is possible.)

Not a lot of choice at PC Specialist. But here is an Intel build that I believe meets your criteria. Total VAT in is £1,550.00

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
