non referance card cooling

can i cool a non reference 780 like an asus with any koolance waterblock issue free or does it need to be a referance card to work and fit properly

You can get waterblocks for non reference cards. Reference GPU versions will not work with non-reference waterblocks and vice versa. What card and cooler do you have? I'll link you.

Do some more research before you buy parts. The Blocks don't come with connectors. They are all G 1/4 so you'll need 3/8 fittings with G 1/4 thread on the other side. Don't buy stuff without researching water cooling for at least a month. Also use the quote function so I get a notification when you respond.

Just get a Poseidon cooled card.

Just get a Poseidon cooled card.

No No No NO.

The Poseidon waterblock does not cool the VRMs. This means that any custom Bios that allows high voltages will run the risk of popping the VRMs. There is no reason to get a Poseidon. Not worth the savings in the least bit. Having the fans running to cool the VRM will be loud and just worthless as well.

Just get one of the many waterblocks EK makes for the Asus DCUII non-reference PCB's.
