should i buy a liquid cooler for 4790k or stick with stock? not for overclocking , but i'll be using CPU render a lot using Autodesk Maya

Air coolers are miles quieter than watercoolers.

That's...not true at all. The benefits of water are cooler temps, quieter operation, and more aesthetically pleasing (The last is a matter of opinion). This is the reason they cost much more.

That is true with massive custom loops.

I was referring to All in one watercoolers where air coolers are pretty much always quieter

@loccilucas @Rayne13 i got be system http://pcpartpicker.com/b/LCd6Mp  i have to say ,H90 with Push pull is creating a little bit more noise than i anticipated , do you think switching to noctua will do any better ?

ya, i noticed the fan isn't making that much of a noise, it's the pump noise , i really dont know what to do , it's really noticeable

well...thats why I always tell people to go air cooling over AIO's. I don't think there is anything you can do other than get a different cooler
