Selling my M18x to get something new, opinions?

So, time has come for my M18x to find a new home, since I now have a high end desktop I do not need a desktop replacement laptop taking up space on my desk that is too heavy to move around

So I was thinking of selling it, and getting something new, the new razer blade seems perfect but its not available in the UK, the retina macbook pro also crossed my mind

Any other very high end laptops in the 13/14" category?

Also ideas of what my M18x is worth? A new one with similar specs costs £2300

my specs:

M18x R2 in Nebula Red

18.4" 1080p display

i7 3610QM Quad core with HT

2x 7970m in crossfire

8GB 1866mhz memory

1x 250gb samsung evo

2x 500gb seagate barracudas in raid 0

Origional box, materials and recover discs

You should get something according to your needs. Will you game on the go? Will you do anything really intensive? If not then why not the MacBook Air or if you want some more performance but still really lightweight, the 13" Retina MacBook Pro is great.

Owner of a top of the line 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display (Dual Boot OS X El Capitan & Win 10):
Core i7-4558U @ 3.2GHz II Intel Iris @ 1200MHz II 1TB Apple/Samsung SSD II 16 GB RAM @ 1600MHz

Portable photo and video editing, an air is not powerful enough

I will game on the go but nothing serious just passing the time on a flight/long journey

Hm, depends. What are you looking to do with this new laptop? If you're not planning to game on it, maybe the MBP. But if you are and want something slim, maybe something like the Aorus x3 or one of Gigabyte's 14" P34G laptops.

Ah I forgot there was a 14" auorus coming out, the last one was 17" which is too big imo, I am not sure I like the gigabyte laptops that much being honest

Planning to do mobile photo and video editing, and some gaming (like playing a few games when travelling/in a hotel)

I think Aorus laptops are still made by Gigabyte? (I've never been clear on the relationship between Aorus and Gigabyte, but I know some reviews call it the Gigabyte Aorus x3/x7) However, if you just meant that you didn't like Gigabyte laptops from a style standpoint, the Aorus laptops do look a bit more interesting.

Aside from that, I don't think there are many thin, 14" laptops that can do decent gaming. If you're willing to look at 15" laptops, there's always MSI and I think even the Lenovo y50 is under <1" in thickness. The Asus G550JK would be another option, but the 850M isn't terribly powerful.

Yeah i meant from a design point, noting wrong with gigabyte as a brand. Not really a brand person I even have a clevo laptop!

15" is a bit much, 13" retina is the perfect size, I wish it had the 750m from the 15" :( although the iris should do an ok job in light gaming, I am used to having GPU horsepower when on the go and I am worried I will miss it :/

really stuck for what I want

OR I keep the m18x

Sell my Clevo, (sell anything else I can) and get a 13" pro to take with my photography gear and keep the m18x for LAN

clevo laptops can match that specs.

I have a local startup in my region using clevo chassis and custom made laptops. Slightly cheaper than alienware but has dual gpus too and anti glare screens. But they are too overpiced too. No way i can afford then even if i work my ass off. I got debts to pay and need to feed my parents...

I have a clevo laptop, and its nice. I have used the bigger more powerful ones, their build quality is still super cheap and plastic and they are not premium stuff. They are great for the cost but still!!

Clevo are not overpriced, they are expensive :) big difference :P
