Unable to detect H100i

Go to solution Solved by FrankTheTank,

Windows 8 (don't know about Win7 if this works)

Try this:

Go into the registry and look for HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\VID_1B1C&PID_0C04. For each port/path string you see under this (numbers and ampersands smushed together), open the "Device Parameters" and change the FOUR DWORD settings to 0 (AllowIdleIrpInD3, DeviceSelectiveSuspended, EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled, SelectiveSuspendEnabled). Reboot.

Hi,

I bought a H100i and set it up recently. It works great except I am not able to detect the H100i in the Corsair Link Software. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Thanks.

Yupe, I did connect the internal USB header. I tried 2 different headers and still nothing. I did read that the Asus AI suite tends to mess with the Corsair Link software and I did have the AI suite installed prior to getting the H100i. But even after uninstalling the AI suite the H100i is not detected.

Go under options on corsair link, then under settings it should say 'show all devices' tick that box and it should show up

This seems promising, I am running Windows 8.1 as well. I will try this when I get home. Hope it works. Thanks for the tip.

@kazak

known issue for the OS.

you may want to review this thread from corsair forums:

Thanks for the link, the beta drivers seems to be better than the driver on the official corsair page.

Maybe you should edit the registry settings.
