evga 780ti kingpin

Guest Tanst1395
Go to solution Solved by Shaqo_Wyn,

I was wondering if anyone could give me a good setup that's not to costly 300-500max with the ability to hook up 2 cards to for a fullcover waterblock for the evga 780ti kingpin

$500 won't cut it, $600/$700 could. The water blocks alone will be around $250. Rads, tubbing, fittings, pump/pump top/res. This is what I'd do.

You're already at $660. Note you still need: good fans, coolant, biocides, other aesthetic add-ons, more if you want angled fittings.

Like a custom loop? That would be better suited for the watercooling section, not the graphics card section.

If you dont fully understand water cooling dont try to build a loop.

I've been watching watercooling vids and read stuff for almost a year now and still i read new things every week or so.

This.

Building a computer is one thing. Watercooling is another. Do research and watch watercooling youtube videos for a couple months, then go ahead an drop the $800+ it will cost to watercool your CPU and SLI setup properly.

And yes, you will be looking at $800+ for a good watercooling setup for SLI + CPU cooling.

Corsair 900D much? Caselabs does have some cool stuff tho...if I had money and a need for a custom computer I would love to get one of theres that comes in pieces and paint the crap out of it. I have alot of upcoming builds tho...so I'll be broke....I am water cooling my fiance's gaming rig around Black Friday tho...but I might start with a kit from Frozen CPU dont really know yet...mine will come the first part of next year...that will be close to a 5 grand build probably....complete overkill....6-core, or maybe 8-core depending on how expensive they get...

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

Op, its not hard to watercool, just expensive, especially if you don't do research and have to return extra or mismatched components. Just spend a day on ocn looking over build logs and start ordering the components you know you'll want/need. Then fill in the gaps as you go along.

If your comfortable with computers then there's no added harm until you fill and start the dang thing. Just go slow.

Good case choice (check my build below).

Yea I'm perfectably comfortable with computers, just not leaking systems  :P  especially in a 5k build...
