I need to buy an new phone, as I bricked my last one. My plan was to get a used, unlocked HTC one M7, what would be your suggestions?

If you are cool with signing on to a 2 year contract, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is a great phone.

If you want an unlocked phone, get a Nexus 5

+1 For the Nexus 5 (word of caution, get the black version. You'll thank me later when you realize how useful a rubberized backing is).
