SLI in Corsair 350D?

MattP123

What are the temps like in the Corsair 350d with SLI 780/780ti and if I were to do this, I should probably get stock coolers, right?

    Thanks.

For what its worth, my single 780 maxes out at 50ºc (EVGA sc w/ acx).

You should definitely get stock coolers and lots of fans for ventilation.

the 350d is luckily fairly large for an mATX case and has plenty of ventilation options, so you should still get decent temperatures.

Oh, I was just wondering, I don't think I'm going to get a 350d, much have SLI 780's in there.

Nobody can tell you that you will have X temperature in the case. You will be fine regardless of what GPU.

it is not really the fault of the case for SLI/CFX ills, but the motherboard. most of

the mATX boards use PCIe slot 1 and Slot 3 for graphics card teaming. the only

mATX board Giggy G1 Sniper M (Z77) used 1 and 4 which facilitated needs for

a 5-PCI slot mATX case. the case nearly has no effect on temperatures when

GPUs are SLI/CFX.

would be best to use a reference cooler to ventilate the GPU without struggles

of air flow starvation.

i found using the 350D in SLI only thing to keep the temperatures acceptable

was water cooling and this 350D isn't the best for SLI/CFX water cooling for

overclocking CPU/GPU.
