4.4 GHz at 1.25v

You shouldn't worry at all about anything under 1.3 and some people go well above 1.3 with no problems.

Is an OC on a 4690k of 4.4Ghz at 1.25v good? I mean I'm glad with anything over 4.0, but is that voltage safe to run 24/7?

here I am crashing at 4.4@1.25 :/

/currently at 4.3 @1.25

try for 4.5 or 4.45 and see how far you can push those 1.25 volts.

What CPU cooler are you using?

I run my 4770k at at stock because even with 1.4v, it won't go past 4.2ghz. Even bought a custom loop for it lol. Luck if the draw and I lost. Sucks.

Your overclock is actually pretty good.

I am running my i7 4770K @4.6 GHz with 1.3 Volts stable. Temps are always on the green side due to a custom water cooled loop :) . But 4.6 is max... all over it means fail.

But there's nothing wrong with 4.4GHz that's actually very good.

I actually have my 4670k stable @4.4Ghz 1.147v :D

I say that's a good OC. 1.25v Is fine for 24/7 IMO and many others opinions.
