To all those who didnt get a beta key (i gave away a good handful!) wll heres some good news, later today if it hasnt happend already the beta has gone open!

 

 

Today, at 4:00 PM PDT, we’re opening the Destiny Beta to anyone who wants to create a character and walk in their boots. There are, of course, some requirements. You’ll need to have a compatible console equipped with PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold. You’ll need to be brave.

I really like the current trend of long betas with an option slot at the end that's been happening of late, I don't like using it to incentivize pre orders but the practice of running betas of upcoming titles should definitely be encouraged.

I agree on that account, long betas are great although i have to admit i pre ordered a ghost edition for my xbone  :ph34r: although i work at eb games sooo yeah i also gave away like 14 beta codes the other day lol

Been playing it since day 1 of the Xbox One beta. IT'S SO GOOD.

As have i, i actually played it on my ps4 the week previous and jumped ship to the xbox one as soon as it was live. i just cant play an fps game with controllers and even less so with a sony controller lol

Yeah thats all well and good, but if your not coming to my place to play it with me then yeah.. I still gotta have a look at it somehow :)

Actually considering buying the PS4 for Destiny and of course some nice racing exclusives. <-- plus some mates also use the PS4 ecosystem and I havn't been playing with them in a while.

Might have a reason to turn on my huge tv for something other than Teletubbies on ABC and V8 Supercars/Sports

Lol your multiple hours ahead of me anyway i know you couild get a hold of it easily, for me its not actually the 9th yet
