custom built loops

Alright first time custom water cooler here andy systems are in my Sig. I would like for someone to either make me a custom loop or help my with parts since I don't know what is the best or anything like that. Thanks.

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

I have already done extensive cooling tutorials and watched hours I was looking for reliable parts I know how to put it together ive done plumbing a majority of my life -.-

Quality parts I usually use:

Radiators: Alphacool ST30/XT45/UT60 or Hardware Labs Black Ice SR-1, thickness and rad sizes up to you.

Waterblocks: EKWB

Fittings: Bitspower compression fittings

Pump: Swiftech MCP655 PWM (D5)

Res/pump top: Bitspower (requires mod top and upgrade kit), EK pump top/res combo

Tubing: Primochill Advanced LRT

Tubing size: 1/2 ID 3/4 OD or 3/8 ID 1/2 OD if you want thinner tubing

Jayztwocents has reviews on a lot of good stuff.

From what I've heard:

EK water blocks are good

Alphacool and hardware labs radiators are good.

Bitspower fittings are the best on the market.

The Laing D5 is the pump you want to get if you're OK with spending a little money on it

Primochill advanced LRT is good tubing.

And the best fans are Noctuas or Typhoons if you can find them.

If you want someone to part out a list, then you'll have to give us a budget.

Since it's your first loop, you'll need some tutorials. Jayztwocents has a few and Linus did the overkill build guide. Those will take you through step by step so you don't make any mistakes. :)

Yea I suppose its worth it as long as you do it right I just am nervous about things not fitting. I'm thinking between 400-1000 dollars per system per loop including res, pump, radiator, blocks for both cpu and gpu. Both systems will be crossfired even tho the luxe doesnt have it listed. Also I was wondering about hardline tubing with barbs instead of compressions? I want something I know isnt going to come loose or need tightened and start leaking. Hardline tubing is the one that goes straight with no bends right? I like the look of that more then the bendable tubing. I will end up throwing a kill coil in each of the tube res's as well.

Hard line tubing is difficult to work with. You need a heat gun and stuff like that. If you want you can use it, but just know it will take you much longer than regular tubing. Compression fittings are better than barbs. They basically are barbs but with clamps. Less chance of leaking with compressions. I am also pretty sure they don't make barbs for hard line tubing.

So if you're wanting to spend that much:

Alphacool XTxx rads. (The xx is the thickness. I don't know how thick of rads your case allows)

Bitspower compression fittings

Swiftech MCP655 pump. (Any D5 will do. Make sure you get the version with G1/4 threads if you go with the MCP655)

EK GPU block

CPU block: I like my 380i but it really comes down to what you think the best.

Fans: Corsair SP120's will look good but will be loud. The industrial noctuas are almost all black and quiet but cost a ton.

For hard line tubing you can also use fittings at the bends instead of bending the tube. Bitspower will also sell those.

Don't forget a drainage system. Have a valve at the lowest point.

The valve was a good catch I suppose I could cheat a little bit and use the bendable tubing and make it look straight.

I will doodle something up like the placement and measurents within each case and post them here before I get to crazy with it.

Only issue with that is that:

Say you have a piece from the gpu block to the CPU block. A fitting at the bend. It won't stay up because the tubing isnt ridged. Go regular tubing or hard line IMO

Hmmm I had just watched a video they used a heatgun to bend the tubing and no fittings other then the in and out lets of the block. No jigs or anything.

I mentioned that above, it is just a hassle so I also threw in fittings. The fittings are just if you don't want to spend a couple hours bending tubes. I don't really think it is worth it but that is up to you I guess.

Sorry about that double post we will keep this one the main one my 4g must have had a hiccup. Anyways one system will be for the luxe and the other for one of the corsairs (not sure which one I want to use yet). I want it to be between 400-1000 USD for each system and the cheaper the better...both systems will be crossfired right away even tho the luxe doesnt show it yet. Thanks.

In order to tailor the water cooling part properly i need to know the Case and what components will be cooled initially and if you plan on any expansion in the near or far future.

Lord Jesus....your sig has more than one build and i figure you really want the 760T and i gather you will be watercooling the CPU but you have not said if you are doing the GPUs and motherboard and this is why i asked what components you wish to watercool. No where in your sig says the components to watercool.

For me to get the correct parts i need to know what you want to watercool. Also, do you want a 5.25 bay or a free standing reservoir?
