What are the factors you consider while buying a monitor for gaming?

Boy_2014
  1. Refresh rate
  2. Resolution
  3. Response Time
  4. Input Lag
  5. Size

Anything more?

Panel type.

So, IPS, VA, TN and such

I definitely put Resolution, Refresh Rate, and Panel Type (maybe response time) first, then I look for a good size after I know what I need in those categories.

If it isn't IPS I won't give it my money, but that's just because I prefer good colors and high resolution to flat colors and fast refresh.

The mentioned ones above, but also whether my system can actually handle the resolution well enough while gaming.

For size , I would either take 24" or 27". I would actually really want a 24" 2560x1440 monitor, because pixel density. I have yet to see a monitor with those specs.
