You know that you can start the music in desktop mode by clicking on "Library" in steam and Music will be under software.

Never understood the hype about foobar2000 tbh... It is like an old version of iTunes+VLC Player program. I personally find iTunes much better. Admittedly I've never used the newer iTunes versions on Windows, so they may suck on Windows, not sure... On OS X iTunes (duh...) works perfectly.

Try turning of the Steam skin you have. I think that is the problem.

It will check the folder you select every time you start Steam so if you have added some more music there, on start up it will find it and add it to the list.

New version of iTunes on Windows blows... I used it but I switched to foobar2000 when the newer versions came out.

I haven't looked into it but there might be.

It's much lighter weight and open source so it's completely customizable.

If foobar were to web browsers, what you looked at was a blank tab, I can be changed to be any page.

I don't use foobar since there doesn't seem to be a reliable way to handle mobile music, and I can't manage my collection by folders, so a client that organizes like winamp or iTunes is necessary for me.
