NZXT GRID+ and CAM users

So these are due for a UK release pretty soon and I might pick one up to save having cables and molex splitters all over the place at the back of my case.

 

Does anybody who uses these know if the fan control only works so long as the CAM software is running, or whether Grid+ remembers the settings so you don't have to have a process running in the background?

 

EDIT** I just realised Linus has done a thread with a review on this now, my bad...

I think it works as Corsair Link. So you need CAM to save profiles, otherwise its just splitter.
