Suit yourself, but personally i would never ever downgrade to HDD

Hi guys.

So I currently have a Kingston http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820721106, and a hdd for movie storage etc.

And I found an intel 520 120 gb for 60$, brand new, 5 year warranty; besides the size difference which isn't that important for me will i feel a difference? To be honest I can't see that much of a difference between ssd and hdd, so I was wondering if this is because I bought a cheap and slow ssd or because I was expecting too much from it.

Win 8.1 boots in 5 seconds with uefi, but it also booted in under 20 with my classic hdd, for browsing also, can't see a difference, firefox doesn't start any faster.

So, should i return the 60 gigs kingston and get the intel 520, or return the kingston, keep the money and remain on a classic hdd.

My pc:

CPU: Core I3 2100
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
GPU: 750TI Palit storm X
Mainboard: Intel DH61WW SATA-2
HDD: 1TB

In tests: Kingston 60 gb SSD

I've attached as ssd benchmark

Just keep the v300, you're not gonna notice the difference.

But once you replace your mobo, then get yourself a new ssd.

Then I might as well return it, because except for a faster boot I can't see any damn difference between this and my hdd.

I'll just return it, there's no point in it, i'm tired of testing and seeing no difference, I'm on the hdd now, exactly same speeds, i'd rather use the money for something else rather than a 10 sec gain on boot speed.

Browser opens almost instantly on both of them, so does bsplayer, ssd might be worth the money for a slow computer or for someone who does a lot of videoediting/rendering, but not for me.
