Need Help With Chassis Fans

cpt001

I posted something a while ago, and didn't get much help from it, so I'll try again. My case fans won't spin correctly.

-Start up with 3 fans ends up making the fans appear to start spinning, then stop. I can start them with my finger, but the computer becomes extremely loud, and VERY hot.

-Unplugged 1, Start up with 2 fans runs fine.

Now then. Before you say "oh it's voltage" I don't think so. Once in a blue start screen, all 3 fans would start up fine, be extremely quiet, and keep the computer cool. All 3 fans would work perfectly, and I could run BF3 on Ultra, computer wouldn't get hotter than 60.

What are my solutions?

And would a fan controller solve this problem?

Get that Raidmax timebomb out of that right now!!! You can take the side panel off for better cooling.

Yes a good fan controller will help. Something like an NZXT Sentry Mix 2 will work well.

Yeah...  I dont trust RaidMax power supplies, I would get that outta there before it blows up.  I recommend Corsair, Seasonic, Antec etc. A fan controller might solve your issue but to me it kinda also sounds like a power supply issue.  I'm no expert in power supplies so I could be wrong but it could be the power delivery from the power supply.   If your retailer offers some credit or something if you return it, I would do so.

BTW, its not only me who thinks Raidmax is the worst.  All over the internet there are people complaining about Raidmax.   Please, for the love of God, remove it immediatley before your components get ruined.

I know that power supply cost a ton of money, but it really, really, really has to go.

I gonna say it even if you say no. Its the voltages. As fans are ok, then mobo isn't feeding enough voltage to them through headers. Check that headers are set to AUTO in BIOS. I have problem with my board that any other setting than auto will not start fans at all.
