GTX660 SLI PSU

i picked up another gtx 660 off of a friend for a decent price so now im going to be doing SLI, so i need a reliable power supply that can handle sli, 4.5ghz 3570k, 16gb ram and a couple hdd/ssd. i have a low end 500w coolermaster psu right now and i know that isnt enough.

Your 660's have 1x 6pin connector each don't they? I believe 660's have a 140W TDP.

 

From looking at PCPartPicker, I would suggest the Corsair CX500M, CS550M, Seasonic M12ii Bronze 520W, or the Rosewill Hive-550.

From looking at PCPartPicker, I would suggest the Corsair CX500M, CS550M, Seasonic M12ii Bronze 520W, or the Rosewill Hive-550.

CX500M doesn't have the necessary connectors.

I'd suggest a Corsair CX 600M (or similar)

Cable 1 = 2 PCIe 6+2 pin connectors

I believe it does. As long as the 660's have 1 6pin it should be fine. Little on the small/cheap end.

These two connectors are on one cable. The PSU is too weak anyway,
