AOC 2367Fh problems

Playden

I just bought this monitor today, and it seemed like a very good buy at the time. It is IPS and 1080p, I am upgrading from 1680x1050 so I thought this would be a great upgrade. So far this monitor has been terrible, the screen when set to 1920x1080 has a 1 inch gap between the Bessel and where the pixels cut off. I am running dual monitors with my old one and I tried disconnecting it to see if that was the cause, that did nothing. the only way I can get it to go full screen is if I lower the resolution to 1680x1050 which defeats the only reason of having it. I wanted to ask here before I go and return it, I couldn't find many reviews on this monitor to begin with but the ones I did find people said it was fine.

Is it just a problem with mine, or is it just a bad monitor? I bought it for $174 so if I am returning it it would be great if you could suggest a monitor that is good for the same price.

I own the DVI/VGA model of this monitor, the non-h. The issue you are having sounds like one with the monitor or interface, since with both of my monitors, they work just fine.

Are you sure the bezel is 1 inch? Did you measure, or are you making an educated guess?  In reality, the monitor has an around 12mm bezel.

It is a very good monitor, but you may have just gotten a dud.

If you decide to return it and leave AOC as a brand, you can be certain in buying the Acer H236hlbid

Yeah. that's not normal.

You can try a different display cable, display input and different graphics device altogether.

If all else fails, try returning it and picking up the aforementioned Acer monitor.
