Running Windows on 2 drives

Speedbird

Hello,

I planning a PC build and want to use 2 SSDs: one which is very small (32GB) in the M.2 slot for Windows only and another SATA 6Gb/s SSD for programs and user files (documents, music etc). My question is: How do I configure Windows so that all user folders (i.e the content of C:\Users) and programs (C:\Program Files) go to the other SSD by default?

Thanks in advance.

they wont move by default but you can right click them and click "Location" and move them yourself.

Okay, so you're telling me that what I want to do is useless. Can you suggest me a good M.2 SSD with at least 240GB capacity?

I wouldnt buy a m.2 ssd, but if you want, just go with a Crucial m.2 one

Not useless. You would just need bigger boot drive (60gb) for windows. For Linux, smallers are fine.
