Rant about people using homophobic slurs

I despise people who use words such as "fag" whenever they die on a video game because it shows that they have no skill, no intelligence, no vocabulary, and that they are awful people. These assholes are 20 years behind current culture. I want them all to either put 70 layers of duct tape over their mouths or to ship them away where their ignorance can't touch us. It's a shame that there are these types of people in every game community. Battlefield, DOTA 2, CS:GO, and everything else.

Well gladly there are people who do care. Just because the words don't hurt you they can hurt other people. And these ignorant homophobic people sometimes stop using words and resort to sticks and stones to hurt people.

Using a homophobic doesn't make you a homophobe IMO. I never really say "faggot", But I always say things are gay and I am certainly not homophobic, it's just a word IMO and to be honest I think people take homophobic and racial slurs too seriously these days. (again, I am definatly not racist and I don't use racist slurs,ever. But you'll never hear me complaining about them either)

I think OP needs tougher skin... Besides fag is barely even a homophobic slur at this point. The meanings of words change constantly, and this word is changing to mean asshole. (I don't say it, just saying)

i have nothing wrong with them shouting "fag" or "that was gay" or any other things... as long as it is not directed at a other human, culture, place or a belief. then it crosses the line, directing it at someone who can take offence is damn right wrong... no two ways around its wrong. also dick and things like that dont bother me unless again they are directed at someone who can take offence!!    

 

Also you calling them an "ASSHOLE" is a bit hypocritical your offending people who say these words when there angry. your telling us that you dont curse when your angry?
