will my rig be able to play following games ?

razoku

SO some of you might know im building an pc , but anyway , we are talikng about amd athlon x2 dual core 2.8 ghz cpu

nvidia geforce gt 630 ddr3 2 gb , 128 bit , 4 gigs of ddr3 ram 1600 ghz , long story short it has two fans , custom bought , so its gonna bee chill as if i were playing it in antartica , psu is long story short , more than ok .

So does anyone have any expirience with this kind of setup or at least simular ?

I plan to play : Rust , unturned , dota , bf2 bc .

So i dont need any special graphics but medium is k , and i aslo plan to overclock if needed .

Question is will this rig be able to play games up there in enjoyable quality ? if not what to upgrade first ?

The most important things to upgrade in my opinion would be the graphics card and the storage device. Get an SSD and I suggest upgrading to a GTX 750. Your system as of now most likely looks like its going to bottleneck at that graphics card.

I think you could but your going to have to really make all the graphics on the low setting.

I'm pretty sure it should be able to run it but most likely on the lower settings.

If your budget allows for it, go for an APU rig you can cannibalise certain components for an APU build and you always have the option of upgrading.

You might be able to play this games on low settings, but it won't be fun. Also try to get a better GPU than your current selection.

@razoku this computer is not going to be able to handle anything really in terms of gaming. If you already have the CPU then you may as well use it but of you don't please don't get it. That CPU is basically 8 years or so old and won't perform well at all. Get at least an Athlon X4 750k or a recent Pentium. For the GPU, the R7 250X would be ok.

But since you already seem to have the whole thing (probably from used parts or so...), here is my guess on how it will perform. Dota2 should be no problem. Battlefield 2 at reasonable settings should be fine too. Rust, I have no knowledge about.

I have a similar rig currently. But Remember this:

IF YOUR RIG DOESN'T MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF ANY GAME THEN DONT WORRY YOU STILL CAN RUN THOSE GAMES BUT THEY WILL RUN SLOW.

For Example:WATCH DOGS WILL RUN VERY SLOW.....BUT AT PLAYABLE FRAMERATES. SAME IS THE CASE WITH OTHER GAMES.....

But overall i think you will be able to run all those games mentioned above at low to medium settings except Battlefield2: Bad Company, That should run on high....

Also if you really wanna upgrade then its best to get a quad core intel processor.Avoid AMD, They aren't good.As for the GPU: I think it is suffice for now.....

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is going to lag on his rig above medium settings.
