GTX 660 (OC Edition) - 3 Displays?

Hello,

So I have a Palit GTX 660 (OC Edition). I always use 2 monitors (Btw these 2 are not the same). Then today I decided to use both of them and an extra projector. I was testing out some visuals. Then my desktop extension went to the projector and my second monitor went black with a "No Signal" sign. I used a VGA( from Projector) to DVI( to PC) cable, HDMI cable for my main display and VGA(from 2nd Monitor) to VGA to DVi adapter(came with Graphics card). Anything wrong with my cables? and btw, I don't want a long desktop. I want 3 individual screens. Any help? Thanks in advance. :)

i don't know what the problem is, i use 3 displays, all diffrent sizes also have an GTX 660, and it works fine!, i have no idea why. you did look in controlpanel and tried windows key+p(you properbly have).

i also have my cables connected like you so that shouldn't be a problem. also: did you enable surround mode or not?

about games...it can't really handle all the games super. you can play tf2 and other half-life based games and minecraft and properbly skyrim although not on highest settings but whatever.

my surround experience is that your second and third screen have a really streched out image, so it's not really and expansion of your vision more like what you would see in your eye-corners.

although 3 screens is great and it's a shame it isn't working for you. i agree that using desktop in surround is stupid as hell and i always disable it in that case.

believe me if you play any of the above games it's worth playing it other than that your(and mine) graphics card can't hadle any game that recruiers more from your pc.

otherwise i have totaly no idea of you problem. is windowskey + p setup right? other than that i don't know.

isn't it annoying to work/game on a projector? are you sure that you don't have any digital to analog/ anolog to digital connections?

I have a gtx660 and run 3 monitors also, and your setup sounds like a cluster f*ck of cables. Is there no way to do a simple, 1xHDMI, 1xVGA, 1xDVI setup or something like that?
