Hello there,

So I just bought a Synology NAS and configured it on my computer using find.synology.com.

I set a password and apparently forgot to set a username. I searched about this and then used "root" as username because that is the default. After I did this, there came a message "you have no permission to acces this diskstation, contact the admin for right" (something along those lines, just translated it loosely).

This was all on the same computer that I used to set it up. Why won't it let me acces it?

Thanks for the help.
